The City of Redwood City invites applications for Program Assistant II in the Parks, Recreation, and Community Services Department.
THE POSITION
The City of Redwood City Parks, Recreation and Community Services (PRCS) Department invites you to apply for the position of Parks and Recreation Program Assistant II. This position provides onsite technical support for events, programs, activities, trainings, and general community services; oversight of daily operations including the scheduling, staffing, and coordination of programs and events and liaison with the public, community groups, and other City departments as directed. The Parks and Recreation Program Assistant II position receives direct supervision from management personnel. May receive technical and functional direction from higher level personnel. May be responsible for providing direction and oversight to temporary staff and volunteers.
